Storage Capacity
Due to the ever-expanding needs of our clients and the research community, CRYOGENE has increased our High-Volume Storage capacity at our state-of-the-art Houston facility. Our recent expansion provides a total of 75,000 square feet of space of LN2, -80°C and -20°C sample storage, as well as ambient storage, to better support and serve the life sciences research industry.
In addition, pallet storage options at ambient temperature are now available inside our brand-new 2,400 square-foot walk-in cold room. We understand that new storage challenges have presented difficulties in the research community, such as supply chain shortcomings. By providing pallet storage locally, our clients will now be able to have easy, same-day access to reagents and supplies. With this new service offering, supply chain processes are significantly streamlined, and you can avoid costly delays due to materials not being readily available.
Safer, more secure storage of biological specimens
All our storage facilities follow GMP guidelines and are fully validated. CRYOGENE’s facility also has 24-hour security using the latest technology. The storage areas are accessible only to authorized personnel. Using video and advanced biometric scanning technology linked to our computer system, only approved staff have access to assigned areas.
CRYOGENE’s experienced staff are also available to receive incoming shipments from outside transportation couriers. We can also provide rapid local pickup and delivery of samples within the Houston area. For the delivery of samples outside the local Houston area, we will prepare the shipment by using the client’s preferred transportation vendor. Our staff also provides all the necessary packaging, shipping containers and dry ice as needed.
